Rudi Frederix was born in Hasselt, Belgium, in 1968. He received the MSc degree in Production Automation from the university Thomas Moore, Belgium, and the MSc degree in Instrumentation Technology from the University of Karel De Grote Hogeschool in Antwerp in 2001 and 2004, respectively. In 2012 he received a degree in ‘Managing others’ from the Harvard Business school. In 2012 he was runner up Maintenance Manager of the year in Belgium.

He has worked in the Asset Management field since 1993. He possess knowledge and experience with Operational Excellence programs and has worked in various functions in almost every type of industrial setting, including but not limited to: Automotive, Oil and Gas, Chemical, Food, Pharmaceutical, Mining, and Nuclear Energy.
He enjoys leading people and sharing his passion for Project Management, Maintenance and Reliability best practices. He learns new things every day and that keeps him excited about his career. He is happiest when he is contributing to the team and when he feels that he is adding value.
